I was interested to hear on the national news and Loose Women that our local train station has banned people from stopping in cars to kiss goodbye to their loved ones, because it causes queues and holds up taxis.
Instead there is now a designated space for such goings on - The hideous sign pictured is the real one that some jobsworth hurriedly drew (probably got a 3 year old child to do it).
Having encountered the idiots at the planning department they seem to specialize in a complete lack of common sense - the system used to work perfectly well before they "redesigned" it all. Picnics and Brewerys spring to mind!
